Over-18s stand-up show by Ari Shaffir, his first headline shows in London, framed around the new comic's arrival in a town.
Ari Shaffir is at The Bill Murray on Monday 26 October, one of his first four headline shows in London since moving to the city. The night is presented by Angel Comedy, and the titleβSome of you will leave angry. Others will enjoy itβsets the tone for what to expect.
Shaffir frames the show around a specific trap he's trying to avoid: that thing every comic does when they arrive in a new place and the locals start telling them how things are. Rather than leaning into that, he sticks to bits about horrible things. It's a set that doesn't ask you to like him, and the title makes it clear that not everyone is going to come away happy.
If you can't make the 26th, there are other dates in the run. He played on Wednesday 7 October, and there's another on Monday 2 November at 6:30pm, so you've got a few chances to catch him across the autumn. The Bill Murray is at 39 Queen's Head St, London N1 8NQ.
