Free outdoor exhibition of contemporary sculptures by 11 international artists across the historic English Gardens of Regent's Park, curated by Fatoş Üstek.
Frieze Sculpture is back in The Regent's Park from 16 September to 1 November, with contemporary sculpture scattered across the English Gardens. It's the 14th edition of the outdoor exhibition, which returns to the park each autumn to run alongside the Frieze art fair. This year, curator Fatoş Üstek is back for a fourth year, and she's staged the display as a web of interconnected objects linked by materials, stories and communities rather than as a collection of pieces to be viewed in isolation.
There are 11 international artists on the bill: Angel Otero, Conrad Shawcross, Tarini Sethi, Ivana Bašić, Catriona Robertson, Carolina Aguirre, Matyáš Chochola, Özlem Günyol and Mustafa Kunt, Elena Nemkova, Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran and Douglas White. Their work is spread across the park's historic English Gardens, so you see it as you walk through the greenery rather than all in one room. The exhibition runs alongside Frieze London and Frieze Masters, and the programme includes curator-led tours, BSL tours and talks with the artists.

One of the best things about it is the contrast with the indoor fair. Tickets for the Frieze fairs can cost up to £250 and are usually the territory of collectors, dealers and creators, but the sculpture walk is free and open to the public. It's a chance to see contemporary work in the open air, and you can take your own time with it. The exhibition runs from 16 September to 1 November in The English Gardens, The Regent's Park, London NW1 4NR, and entry is free.
