Fontaines D.C. play The O2 Arena in London with special guest Chalk on their UK tour.
Fontaines D.C. play The O2 on Friday 27 November, their only London date of the 2026 UK tour. It's a big room for them, and they're not coming alone: the Dublin five are bringing Chalk along as special guests to open the night.
If you've followed them from the start, you'll know how they've shifted. The early records were all about that driving, post-punk energy — the sort of songs that worked best when they were leaning into the noise. Since then, they've moved into something more expansive, with the newer material trading the sharp edges for a wider, more open sound. A set at The O2 will pull from both, so you'll get the older, tighter stuff alongside the newer, more atmospheric songs.
Chalk takes the first slot, which gives you a full night of music rather than just one band on stage. Between the support and the main act, it's a long evening, so it's worth knowing the timings before you head in. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and with the support act playing first, the main set won't kick off until well into the night.
