Elro with Vibe Chemistry

Elro headlines New Cross Inn on Wednesday 23 December, with Vibe Chemistry on DJ duties. It's a double-bill that puts a UK rap act and a drum & bass producer on the same stage, and the two don't just take turns: Vibe Chemistry handles the decks during Elro's performance before playing his own set later in the night.

Elro is a UK rap sensation known for sharp lyricism, dark humour, emotionally candid storytelling and viral dance moves. Vibe Chemistry is a platinum-selling DJ and producer from Milton Keynes who's been drawing from every corner of drum & bass since 2012. He landed his first label deal with DNB Allstars via the Balling EP in July 2021, and his discography runs from summer BBQ tunes to dark club sets, with tracks like 'Dancing is Healing', 'Balling' and 'Runny Egg'.

The venue is New Cross Inn, 323 New Cross Road, Lewisham, London SE14 6AS, a down-to-earth independent music venue in the heart of Lewisham that's known for supporting independent artists and booking an eclectic mix of genres, from punk and rock to indie and folk. The night is for ages 14 and over, with under-16s accompanied by an adult.

Doors open at 18:00. General admission is £16.50 including fees, which works out to around £15 face value.
