Linkin Park tribute show in which Reanimation, led by Pink Popcorn, reworks the band's tracks and live performances.
Reanimation bring their tribute to Linkin Park to New Cross Inn on Friday 6 November, with doors opening at 6:00pm. It's a night built around the band's origins and the latest chapter in their story, rather than just a run through the hits. They rework album tracks, iconic live performances and the group's crossover work into fresh takes, so you'll hear the familiar songs played in a way that doesn't just follow the records.
Leading the show is Pink Popcorn, whose sound they describe as pairing nu riffs and catchy choruses with a darker edge than the name suggests. They're billed as bringing a unique perspective to the tribute scene, and that's where the night gets its particular shape: it's less about a carbon copy and more about a particular take on the material. The set draws from the early days and the more recent work, with the crossover tracks given their own space alongside the album cuts.
