DJ Luck & MC Neat: 30 Years of UK Garage - Boxing Day Special

DJ Luck & MC Neat are playing The Jazz Cafe on Saturday 26 December, a Boxing Day special that marks 30 years of them working together. They're two of the originators of the UKG sound, and the set is built around those three decades, running from the sentimental classics and anthems back to the dubs of the mid-90s. It's a long look at the best of UK Garage over thirty years, rather than a snapshot of one particular era.

Luck and Neat have been a duo since the early days of the UK garage scene, and this night is a celebration of that longevity. The set covers the full stretch of their time together, so you'll hear the well-known tracks alongside the deeper cuts and dubs that go back to the mid-90s. It's billed as a Boxing Day Special, and the organisers are promising a party atmosphere to match the holiday.

At The Jazz Cafe, the night runs from 22:30 to 03:00, so it's a late one that carries on well into the early hours. It's for over-18s only, and there are exclusive mezzanine experiences available that look over the dancefloor if you'd rather watch from above than be right in the middle of it.

Doors open at 19:00, and tickets are £16.00 face value. That price covers entry before 11:30pm, and as it's an over-18s night, you'll need to bring ID. The venue is at 5 Parkway, Camden Town, London, NW1 7PG.
