West End theatre circus spectacular with over thirty acrobats, aerialists and stuntmen, headlined by the live motorcycle 'Globe of Death'.
Cirque Berserk! returns to the Garrick Theatre for a strictly limited season from 21 to 31 October, bringing its mix of contemporary cirque and stunt action back to the West End. It's billed as Britain's biggest theatre circus spectacular, and the scale of it comes through in the cast: an international troupe of over thirty acrobats, aerialists and daredevil stuntmen. The show's signature piece is the motorcycle 'Globe of Death' performed live on stage, and that's joined by fire and crossbows.
Behind the scenes, it's directed by Matt Page, with choreography by Mike Denman and lighting and sound design by Robbie Lopusni. Critics have described it as 'Cirque du Soleil on steroids', 'anarchic and outrageous', 'heart-stoppingly good fun' and 'the greatest show on earth'. It's recommended for ages five and over, though children under 15 have to be accompanied by and sit next to an adult aged 18 or over. The show contains flashing lights, loud noise and live stunts, so keep that in mind if you're booking for a younger crowd.
