Seafood supper club at Wright Brothers with canapés, a four-course meal and Champagne Lanson pairings to mark World Champagne Day.
Wright Brothers are hosting a Champagne Supper Club at their Battersea Power Station site on Tuesday 20 October, and the whole night is built around Champagne Lanson. It's part of their Seafood Supper Clubs series, and the date is chosen for a reason: it's World Champagne Day.
The evening starts with canapés and Champagne Lanson on arrival, so you're drinking before you've even sat down. From there, it's a four-course meal, with each course paired to a different Lanson cuvée. The pairings are led by the restaurant's executive chef, Kevin Gratton, who'll be walking you through the choices as the meal unfolds.
Between the courses, there's a bit of a deep dive into the house itself. Lanson is the fourth oldest Champagne House, and the night is set up to tell its story alongside the food. So it's not just about the drinking; there's a bit of history woven in as you go.
