Free exhibition of works by members of the Painter-Stainers' Livery Company, including Spadge Hopkins, at Painters' Hall.
Art In The City 2026, titled The Wheel Turns, runs from Wednesday 21 to Saturday 24 October at Painters' Hall, 9 Little Trinity Lane, London EC4V 2AD. It's an exhibition drawn from the membership of the Painter-Stainers' Livery Company, a group that brings together painters, sculptors, designers, decorators and craftspeople. The work on display spans contemporary practice and traditional discipline, so you'll find a fair bit of variety under one roof rather than a single style.
Among the artists involved is Spadge Hopkins, a Framlingham artist who works full-time in three dimensions and in metal. His creative career has touched on leadership, product design, the music industry and automotive engineering, and he was the lead creative for Coda, the permanent art memorial to Pink Floyd's Syd Barrett in The Cambridge Corn Exchange, which was unveiled in 2017.
