All Jokes Aside - Comedy Show

All Jokes Aside returns to Soul Mama Stratford on Wednesday 28 October, with Travis Jay hosting the night. It's a comedy show that doesn't stop at the stand-up: the organisers describe it as a celebration of culture, connection and feel-good entertainment, pairing some of the UK's finest comedians with live music and DJs. DJ Cinde'Rella will be on the decks, setting the vibe between sets, and the whole night is presented by Mindset Manage and JAW Management.

Now in its second year, the show has built up a fair bit of a track record. Over the last two runs, it's welcomed names like Slim, Kane Brown, Axel Blake, Grace Campbell, KG Tha Comedian and Aurie Styles. The host, Travis Jay, is a comedian, writer and presenter who's worked across BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Comedy Central.

The venue is part of the draw here, too. Soul Mama Stratford serves a blend of African, Caribbean and South American cuisine and was listed by the Evening Standard among the 'top restaurants to look forward to in 2024', so it's a spot that does food as much as it does entertainment.

Doors open at 6:30pm, with the performance starting at 8pm. You'll find Soul Mama at 103 The Street, Montfichet Road, London, E20 1EN.
