Late-night hip-hop and RnB party by the club collective Club 1BD, part of its 'Blue Hour' tour, at The Jazz Cafe.
Club 1BD bring their hip-hop and RnB night to The Jazz Cafe on Saturday 6 November, as part of their Blue Hour tour. It's a late one, with doors open from 22:30 through to 03:00.
Club 1BD is a global party collective founded to spotlight POC talent. Their nights are built around nostalgic, high-energy DJ sets that range from hip-hop and RnB to Jersey club, house and beyond, with a focus on dancing, connection and letting the night unfold. They describe their approach as reimagining club culture through community, joy and shared movement, and their parties are known for a room full of feel-good rhythms and a crowd dressed in shades of blue.
This particular night forms part of the collective's Blue Hour tour, so it's one stop in a wider run of dates. The music follows that same broad arc they're known for: hip-hop and RnB at the core, with Jersey club and house mixed in, and the whole thing geared towards the dancefloor rather than the stage. It's the kind of night where the set evolves as it goes, rather than sticking to one particular sound from start to finish.
