Two-hour graffiti workshop run by ZAP GRAFFITI at Resurrection where participants learn basic graffiti skills and create a 3x3ft poster to take home.
ZAP Graffiti are running a graffiti art class at Resurrection on Saturday 24 October, starting at 11:00. It's a two-hour workshop held on the first floor of 27-29 Bold Street, in the heart of Liverpool's city centre.
The session is open to all ages from six upwards, and it usually brings together a mix of children and adults working in the same room. You'll work as a team to pick up the basic skills and techniques a professional graffiti artist uses, and once you've got the hang of them, you'll design and paint your own 3x3ft poster to take home. It's a proper hands-on morning rather than a lecture, and you leave with something finished to show for it.
Because it's a team-based setup, it works as well for a family outing as it does for a group of friends or someone coming on their own. The age range means you'll likely be working alongside people from completely different walks of life, all learning the same craft at the same time. If you've never picked up a spray can before, that's fine — the whole point is to learn the basics from the ground up.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Liverpool and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
