Orchestral concert of the The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt soundtrack, with visuals, arranged under the supervision of composer Marcin PrzybyĆowicz.
The Witcher in Concert comes to Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Tuesday 27 October, bringing the soundtrack of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to the stage. The concert marks ten years of the open-world role-playing game, and the score is performed by a 14-member ensemble orchestra, with the music arranged under the supervision of the game's co-composer, Marcin PrzybyĆowicz. The performance is paired with cutting-edge visuals, so you're not just hearing the music â you're seeing the world it belongs to.
Among the ensemble is Percival Schuttenbach, the group whose work shaped several of the soundtrack's most iconic pieces. Their presence brings a good deal of the original character to the live arrangement, and the music opens up the game's Polish-inspired fantasy world to a live audience. The organisers have also put out a call for the crowd to sing 'lelelele' at the top of their lungs for extra brownie points, so it's not exactly a sit-back-and-listen kind of night.

It's a specific kind of evening, and the organisers recommend it for ages 16 and over. If you've spent time in the game, you'll recognise the tracks; if you haven't, it still works as a standalone concert. The music is by Marcin PrzybyĆowicz, performed by the 14-piece ensemble including Percival Schuttenbach, with the visuals running alongside. The show starts at 19:30 at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Hope Street, L1 9BP.
