British indie rock band Courteeners tour the UK marking twenty years since their debut album, with special guests The Lathums and The Guestlist.
Courteeners play the M&S Bank Arena on Friday 13 November, part of a UK tour marking twenty years since their debut album St. Jude came out in 2008. They've grown into one of Britain's biggest bands since then, and they describe their live shows as legendary communal experiences that bring tens of thousands of fans together. The date follows the release of their new single, 'The Luckiest Man Alive'.
They're not taking the stage alone. The Lathums and The Guestlist are both on the bill, and they'll be opening the show before the main set. It's a standing-room-only night across the full arena, so you'll be on your feet for the whole thing. Under-14s have to be accompanied by an adult. If you're after something a bit more comfortable, there are premium experiences available, like the Premium Live Lounge and the Super Suite.
There's a charitable side to the tour, too. The band is backing the LIVE Trust, a new initiative that provides financial aid to the grassroots music ecosystem. £1 plus VAT from every ticket sold at the show goes to the cause, so a bit of your entry fee ends up supporting smaller venues and the wider music scene. It's a straightforward way to put something back into the grassroots music that keeps the whole thing running.
