A Christmas burlesque gala with cabaret and festive entertainment at the Everyman Theatre, featuring a meal of Pie & Mash.
The Spare Rib Burlesque are bringing their Christmas gala, Tinsel & Tassels, to the Everyman Theatre on Friday 11 December. It's a burlesque, cabaret and festive night that swaps the usual office party for something a bit more glamorous and a lot less predictable. They describe it as an evening of sparkling costumes, show-stopping performances and a touch of Christmas mischief, so if you're looking for a way to mark the season that doesn't involve a small table at a chain restaurant, this is a solid alternative.
The night isn't just about the stage, either. The performance is paired with a meal of pie and mash served with onion gravy, so you can eat and watch in one go rather than having to sort dinner separately. The whole thing runs for around two hours, which is a decent length for a night out without it dragging into the early hours.

It's held downstairs at the Everyman, at 5-11 Hope Street, L1 9BH. Tickets are £42, and it's for ages 18 and over, so it's a proper adult night rather than a family affair. If you're after something a bit more theatrical than the standard Christmas outing, this is a good shout for a Friday night in December.
