LGBTQ+ inclusive and body-positive burlesque show where glamour meets the macabre for Halloween, for ages 18+.
The Spare Rib bring their burlesque night, All Hallows-Tease, to the Everyman Theatre on Saturday 24 October. It's a Halloween special, so the whole thing leans into the season: glamour meets the macabre, with the night described as "scarily sexy, fiercely inclusive, unapologetically burlesque."
Expect a mix of devilish delights, hauntingly beautiful performances and dark glamour. The cast spans all ages, sizes, genders and identities, and the production is LGBTQ+ inclusive and body positive. It's not just the stage that's dressed up, either — the audience is encouraged to turn up in their favourite spooky, glamorous or gloriously outrageous Halloween look, so there's plenty of room to get involved with your own costume.
The show runs for around two hours and is for ages 18+. It's part of the Everyman's burlesque series, which also includes the festive Tinsel & Tassels Christmas gala, so this is one of two burlesque nights the theatre is putting on across the autumn and winter.
