Emmy Award-winning Irish harmony group The Shamrocks bring their debut UK tour to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
The Shamrocks play the Philharmonic Hall on Monday 26 October, part of their debut UK tour. They're an Emmy Award-winning five-piece from Northern Ireland, known for their harmony singing and for playing a range of instruments across the band. The Liverpool date is one of nine shows on the run.
They've played stages across the globe, from the Sydney Opera House to the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, and this tour brings that same Belfast charm to the UK. The set reimagines Irish classics like Danny Boy, Wild Rover and Whiskey In The Jar alongside their own original songs, so you'll hear the well-known ones alongside things they've written themselves. It's a mix of the songs most people recognise and the new material they're bringing to the stage.
The group draws on some of Northern Ireland's most exciting musical talent, and they've built a significant following along the way: their videos have more than 100 million views online, and they've performed in more than 30 countries. They're often described as one of Northern Ireland's greatest ever exports, and this tour is the first time they're taking that reputation across the UK.
