Immersive courtroom drama in which the audience acts as the jury to decide whether a speedboat accident was murder with intent.
The Jury Experience comes to St George's Hall on Sunday 18 October, with two sittings that afternoon: one at 4:00pm and another at 6:00pm. It's an immersive courtroom drama that puts the audience in the jury box, so instead of just watching, you're the one deciding the outcome. You listen to the testimonies, weigh up the evidence, debate the case with the people around you, and question the motives of everyone involved. When it's over, you vote to decide who walks free and who pays the price.
The production follows a real Crown Court format, with lawyers arguing their cases, witnesses casting doubt and a judge keeping the peace. The final decision rests with the room, so what happens depends on the jury on the night. It's played in more than 40 cities worldwide and has picked up an average of 4.5 out of 5 stars from thousands of participants.
