The Disney Afternoon Tea is back at FunnyBoyz Liverpool on Friday 5 February, starting at 16:00. It's a drag-queen-hosted cabaret show that takes the childhood classics we all know and gives them a 'very naughty drag makeover'.
The whole thing is built around Disney-inspired drag, games, karaoke and plenty of audience interaction, so you're not just sitting there watching. Dressing up is very much encouraged too – princess, villain, prince or any Disney character you fancy, and the more ridiculous the better. If you've got a costume gathering dust in the wardrobe, this is a good excuse to bring it out.
It's worth knowing a bit about the venue, because it sets the scene. FunnyBoyz on Blundell Street is billed as a unique concept that brings together drag shows, bingo, silly games, tribute acts and bottomless drinks, so this fits right in with what they do.
