A drag and tribute night featuring tribute acts, comedians, vocalists and drag stars with interactive crowd participation at FunnyBoyz Liverpool.
The BIG Saturday Night Cabaret Show is at FunnyBoyz Liverpool on Saturday 17 October, part of the venue's regular run of cabaret. It's a drag and tribute format, with tribute acts, comedians and live vocalists from the likes of The Voice and The X Factor sharing the stage with stars from RuPaul's Drag Race alongside local and international talent.
FunnyBoyz bills itself as the city's oldest and most established cabaret bar, bringing live entertainment to the crowd for almost 30 years. The venue was given a new lease of life by its owner, Liverpool Z-list celebrity Linda Gold, who added extra glitz and glamour to the room. The show is built around that drag and tribute format, with tribute acts, comedians and live vocalists from the likes of The Voice and The X Factor sharing the stage with stars from RuPaul's Drag Race alongside local and international talent.
Beyond the performances, the night leans on crowd participation: a glass of fizz and unlimited popcorn, twerk-offs and lip sync battles, meeting the drag queens, playing 'Spin The Wheel' and an interactive drag queen experience. A VIP Party Package can be added for groups, and 10% of the money raised goes to good causes.
