The British Invasion, a 60s tribute band from Ohio, return for their fifth trip to The Cavern Club with faithful reproductions of 1960s British rock.
The British Invasion are back at The Cavern Club on Friday 16 October, starting from 7pm on the front stage. They're a 60s tribute band from Ohio, and this is their fifth trip to the club, so they're well-acquainted with the room by now.
They bill themselves as 'The Ultimate Tribute To 60s British Rock', and the set covers the English groups of the decade: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, The Dave Clark Five, The Hollies, Herman's Hermits, The Searchers and The Animals. It's a broad run through the era, rather than a focus on one or two names. The band says they reproduce everything in detail, from the music, the clothing and the hairstyles to the vintage guitars and equipment. There's a Sgt. Pepper era set too, with outfit changes for each era.

They describe it as much more than a Beatles tribute, and they've played to audiences across the United States as well as in Manchester, Liverpool and London. This is their fifth time playing The Cavern, so they're no strangers to the city. Tickets are General Admission, and the show starts at 7pm on the front stage.
