The Big Bakes Ultimate Baking Experience for Two

The Big Bakes Ultimate Baking Experience for Two is at The Big Liverpool Bake on Sunday 25 October, and it's exactly what it sounds like: a baking class for two that doesn't ask you to be a pro to get involved. It's billed as Liverpool's award-winning bake off, and it runs all year round, so you're not limited to a one-off date.

The format is simple. You and a partner get 90 minutes to bake and decorate under the guidance of a Head Baker. There's a new theme every month, so what you're making changes as the weeks go by, and a winning pair is crowned at the end of the session. There are 12 bake stations in total, everything you need is provided on the spot, and the venue even does the washing up for you. It's marketed as a hen party, a date night or a family activity, and it all takes place in a marquee.

Beyond the city, The Big Bakes runs similar events across the UK, including The Big London Bake, The Big Birmingham Bake, The Big Manchester Bake and The Big London Bake East. They also do private packages for larger group bookings, like corporate events, staff parties and product launches.

Sessions run 90 minutes, with start times across Monday to Sunday — and Bank Holidays — including 10:00, 12:30, 15:00, 17:45, 20:00 and 20:30.
