Free morning info session and networking with a live Q&A from ANZUK Education for internationally trained educators moving to Australia or New Zealand.
ANZUK Education are holding an info session and networking morning at Duke Street Food & Drink Market on Saturday 7 November, from 10am to 12pm. It's aimed at internationally trained educators who've been thinking about moving to Australia or New Zealand, and the whole morning is built around a live Q&A with the company's global team.
If you've spent any time wondering what it actually takes to take your teaching career to the other side of the world, that's where the session focuses. ANZUK describe the support they provide as running through the whole process: from securing the right role in the right location to relocation guidance, visa support, and settling in both professionally and personally. It's not just about the job itself, then, but the logistics of getting there and finding your feet once you've arrived.
The Q&A is the main thing on the morning, but there's a networking side to it too. You'll be in the room with other educators who are planning the same move, so you can share experiences and ask each other about the things that usually come up when you're talking about this kind of shift: teaching, relocation, lifestyle, visas, and schools. It's as much about chatting with people in the same boat as it is about hearing from the team.
