Shoegaze band Swervedriver play live and hold a signing session at District to mark the 35th anniversary of their album Raise.
Swervedriver play District on Sunday 1 November, their first Liverpool date in a while. It's a double bill of a night: a live set and a signing session, both under one roof. The whole thing is for over-18s only.
The gig marks the 35th anniversary of Raise, their classic album. Pitchfork described it as heart-racing, horizon-bound psych-punk and the connective tissue between UK shoegaze and American alt-rock after grunge, and it made their list of the best 50 shoegaze albums of all time. That's the record they're celebrating here, so the night is built around it.

As for the format, you get the live performance and the signing session together. It's a bit more than a standard gig, with the chance to get something signed after the music. The venue is District, 61 Jordan Street, Liverpool L1 0BW, right in the city centre. Doors open at 19:00, and general admission is £25.00 with a £2.50 booking fee.
