Spilt Wine: Witch, Please! Wine Tasting

Spilt Wine are hosting Witch, Please!, a Halloween-themed wine tasting at The Terrace in the Duke Street Food & Drink Market on Saturday 31 October. It's a tasting built around the spooky season, with six wines to work your way through over the course of the evening. The whole thing is presented by GSG Hospitality.

They've leaned fully into the Halloween side of things here. The theme is witches, and they're handing out fake vampire fangs for everyone to wear while they taste. They describe the atmosphere as relaxed and no-snobbery, so it's more about enjoying the wines than knowing exactly what's in the glass. Costumes are encouraged, too, so if you've got something sorted for Halloween night, this is a good place to wear it out.

One of the better perks of the night is that it lands you 20% off food and drink from the six independent kitchens at Duke Street Market, which is handy if you fancy something to eat alongside the tasting. The venue is The Terrace, a private hire space within the market at 46 Duke Street, Liverpool L1 5AS. One practical thing to keep in mind: it's accessible only via a staircase, with no lift.

The tasting runs from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with doors opening at 5:45 PM, so you've got a bit of time to get settled before things kick off. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
