Christmas-music night with The Liverpool Irish Choir and the Melody Makers musicians at the Liverpool Irish Centre.
The Liverpool Irish Choir are back at the Liverpool Irish Centre on Friday 27 November, with their annual Christmas concert Songs of The Season 26. It's a night of festive songs performed by the choir and the 'Melody Makers' musicians, and they've billed it as a Christmas-music night designed to get audiences into the festive spirit.
The choir takes the lead on a repertoire of festive songs, and the 'Melody Makers' provide the live music to back them. It's a choir-led evening, so the singing is the main thing, and the musicians are there to round it out. The whole set is built around Christmas music, and the night is framed as a way to get into the festive mood as December approaches.
