Liverpool cinematic rock band Solffigo play ARC:HIVE with special guests Straits and Carousel Cartel.
Solffigo play ARC:HIVE on Friday 6 November, with tickets from £11.27. They're a cinematic rock band from Liverpool, and they take the stage as a five-piece: drums, guitar, bass, violin and vocals. The set leans on their debut album, From Here, and the band describes their live sound as something that wouldn't be out of place on the festival scene.
They aren't playing alone. Joining them are fellow Liverpool band Straits and Carousel Cartel, who come from nearby Skelmersdale and have been described as quite possibly the best band to come out of that end of the region in recent times. With three acts on the bill, it's a full night of music rather than a single set.
If you're not familiar with them, the violin is the thing that sets Solffigo apart from your standard rock line-up, and that cinematic label they use points to the kind of widescreen, atmospheric sound they build. The set draws from From Here, so it's a good chance to hear the debut album played through in a live setting.
