Stand-up show 'Unleashed' by character comedian Simon Brodkin at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
Simon Brodkin brings his new tour, Unleashed, to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Wednesday 17 February 2027. It's a solo stand-up show, and Brodkin is the only name on the bill.
If you've come across him through the characters, you'll know him as the English character comedian and prankster who made headlines with high-profile stunts in the guise of alter egos like Lee Nelson and Jason Bent. The Daily Telegraph called him 'the world's most famous blagger', and he wrote, starred in and created the BBC Three ratings hit Lee Nelson's Well Good Show and the sketch series Lee Nelson's Well Funny People. He also put together the 90-minute special Jason Bent's World Cup's Best Ever Goals, Ever!.
But he's been doing solo stand-up since 2004, and that's the side of him Unleashed focuses on. His previous tour, Screwed Up, was extended three times to run for 170 dates around the world and ended with three sold-out nights at London's Hammersmith Apollo. Unleashed is billed as his biggest tour yet, built around outrageous punchlines and electric crowdwork; one reviewer called it 'a masterclass of stand-up at its very best'.
