Sculpt and Sip | Kabin @ Kabannas

Paintvine are bringing their Sculpt and Sip evening to Kabin Liverpool on Saturday 21 November, starting at 17:00. It's a guided sculpting session run by the artists themselves, and the whole thing is built for complete beginners — you don't need any prior experience with clay to get involved.

Over the course of the session, which runs for about two hours, you'll work with premium air-dry clay and a set of sculpting tools. The artists guide you step-by-step through the process, so you're not just left to figure it out on your own. When you're finished, you take your piece home to harden naturally over the following days, and they take photos during the session so you've got a record of the evening. It's pitched as a social one, suited to dates, birthdays, celebrations or just meeting new people, and you can buy drinks from the venue bar as you go.

The focus is on the process rather than the end result, and the artists are there to help you along the way, which makes it a decent shout if you've never touched clay before.
