An immersive horror-themed photo experience where visitors can recreate iconic Scream movie moments with the Ghostface character, complete with retro memorabilia and VHS-style atmosphere.
Scream: A Killer Photo Op runs at Tiny Dock Studio in the Baltic Triangle from 21 to 29 October, a short window that puts it right in the middle of Halloween week. The whole thing is built around the Scream franchise, and the main draw is a photoshoot with Ghostface himself. You step into the room, pose with the masked killer, and get the photos taken on your own phone, so you've got them ready to share straight away. You also walk away with a physical Polaroid to keep and a Halloween trick-or-treat sweet.
The room is set up to lean into the VHS era of horror. It's filled with CRT televisions playing Scream films, with retro memorabilia and classic gaming consoles scattered around, all designed to make you feel like you've stepped into a scary movie moment rather than just a photo booth. If you're a fan of the series, there's plenty to look at while you wait your turn.
Tiny Dock Studio is a creative space and micro-venue in the Baltic Triangle that specialises in retro-themed photography and immersive experiences inspired by film, television and gaming. It's also home to VideOdyssey, which has been called the UK's last video shop, so the whole place fits the vibe of the event. The studio's focus on retro gear and immersive sets is exactly what this is built on.

Tickets are £20 per person, and you'll need to book your slot through Skiddle. One practical tip: they ask you to arrive with a fully charged phone, as that's what the photos are taken on. It runs from 21 to 29 October, so you've got a few days to fit it in around the Halloween rush.
