Stand-up show by award-winning comedian Scott Bennett, who uses his routines to explore the absurdity of modern living.
Scott Bennett is playing the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Friday 12 February, with the show starting at 20:00. He's an award-winning comedian and product designer, and the set centres on his attempt to cleanse his life of 'stuff' in the face of the environmental crisis. He's from Yorkshire and draws his routines from real-life experience, so it's less about abstract jokes and more about wry observations on the absurdity of modern living.
He's built a decent track record on the circuit: he was shortlisted as English Comedian of the Year Runner Up, won Comedy Cellar New Act of the Year and Old Speckled Hen Comedian of the Year, and was a 2022 Best Club Comedian Nominee. He's also written for high-profile acts like Chris Ramsey and Jason Manford, recorded his debut on BBC One's Live at the Apollo, and is a regular on BBC Radio 4's The News Quiz and The Now Show. If you've heard him on the radio but haven't seen him live, this is a good chance to catch the full show.
