Live music session at The Cavern Club with multiple acts across the day and night, including The Cavern Club Beatles.
The Cavern Club has a full day of live music running across both its stages on Saturday 17 October, with the resident Cavern Club Beatles taking centre stage. The club bills itself as the most famous in the world, and its resident band plays a show that traces the Fab Four's story 'from The Cavern to the Rooftop'. It's a long day of music, with acoustic artists on both stages in the afternoon and bands on the front stage through the night.
On the front stage, Richard Batty opens from 11:15am to 1:00pm, followed by Craig LW from 1:15pm to 3:00pm. From 3:15pm until 8:00pm, live bands rotate weekly, so the mid-afternoon line-up changes from one Saturday to the next. In the evening, Carbon or McDonald's Farm play from 8:15pm to 10:00pm on alternative weeks, and The Grey Twins close things out from 10:15pm until 1:45am.
Over in the Live Lounge, the afternoon is held down by Gary Murphy from 2:00pm to 3:45pm and Martin Quinn from 4:00pm to 5:45pm. If you're just in for a few hours, you can catch the acoustic sets in the afternoon and head home before the bands take over the front stage for the night.

Entry is £25 for 'Saturday with The Cavern Club Beatles'. If you're looking for something a bit more low-key, the club's sister venue, The Cavern Pub, is also on Mathew Street and opens daily with free entry and live music every evening, including 'The Monday Club' open-mic night hosted by musician Ian Prowse.
