Immersive Christmas adventure with an interactive walkthrough, a forest light trail of over two million lights, reindeer and festive food.
Santa's Secret Forest opens at Orrell Hill Lane in Liverpool from Friday 21 November to Thursday 24 December 2026, with sessions running throughout the day and evening. It's a Christmas light trail that covers 40 acres of woodland, and it's built around Santa's Christmas Hub, an interactive walkthrough that takes you through ten immersive rooms. You'll pass through the Grand Lobby, the Toy Workshop, the North Pole Command and Santa's house, with light, sound and storytelling driving the plot as you go.
Outside the Hub, there's a half-hour forest light trail that winds through the trees, featuring more than two million multi-coloured lights, special effects and festive scenes. Along the way, you'll get a chance to meet real reindeer, and there's Merrywood Market serving festive food and drink — Yorkshire pudding wraps, bratwurst, pizzas, burgers, brownies and toasted marshmallows. The whole thing is described as closer to walkthrough theatre than a festive display, with families stepping inside the story rather than just watching it.
