Stand-up show by comedian Rhys James, part of his 2027 'Chop Logic' tour, in Liverpool.
Rhys James brings his new show Chop Logic to Liverpool on Saturday 15 May 2027, part of his tour running throughout the year. It's a solo stand-up set, with James as the only name on the bill.
If you've caught him on the telly but never live, there's a fair bit of ground to cover. He's a regular on Mock the Week, appearing more than 30 times and becoming a series regular when the show was rebooted by TLC in 2016. He's also popped up on Live at the Apollo and QI, so he's well-versed in the panel format. Chop Logic is his own hour, though.
He's been at this since 2009, when he started in student competitions like Comedy Central's Funniest Student and Chortle's Student Comedy Award, all while studying politics and international relations at the University of Manchester. He made his Edinburgh debut in 2010 at The Pleasance Comedy Reserve and returned to the Fringe in 2012 with AAA- Stand Up. From there, he's performed at the Edinburgh Fringe every single year from 2010 right through to 2025. That's fifteen years of Fringe runs in a row, so he's spent a lot of time on stage.

In 2025, he put out his first book, You'll Like It When You Get There. Chop Logic is part of his 2027 tour, so this is a new show on the road. It starts at 20:00 at a venue in Liverpool that's still to be announced, and tickets are £20.00.
