Interactive theatre show at the Everyman Theatre with a choice of narratives, including Sherlock Holmes and The Mystery of The Devils Hand.
Playdio is at the Everyman Theatre on Friday 6 November, with a second show on Saturday 7 November. It's part of the Christmas at the Everyman season, so it's one of the early additions to the theatre's winter programme.
The thing about Playdio is that it's not just one show. You get a choice of narratives to follow, and the options on the table this time are Sherlock Holmes and The Pirates of the Morselium or The Mystery of The Devils Hand. If you're in the mood for a classic detective, Holmes is the one; if you'd rather something more offbeat, the other two lean into the pirate and mystery territory. Having a choice of stories means you can pick the one that suits your night, and if you're really keen, you can catch a different one across the two dates.
Both shows run on the same weekend, so you can go on the Friday and come back on the Saturday to see a second narrative. It's a short run — just the two nights — so if you want to see more than one, you'll have to make it a double. The Everyman is on Hope Street, right in the heart of the city, so it's an easy one to get to whether you're coming from the centre or from further out.
