Actor Phil Daniels revisits his career from Quadrophenia to Blur's Parklife with behind-the-scenes stories, live music and an audience Q&A.
Phil Daniels comes to the Liverpool Philharmonic on Wednesday 23 September 2027, performing in the Music Room. It's an evening with the actor looking back over a career that runs from cult cinema and soap to the Royal Shakespeare Company, and the Liverpool date is one stop on a UK tour that runs from 22 September to 27 November.
Most will know him as Jimmy, the disillusioned Mod in the cult classic Quadrophenia, the role that first made his name. A few years later, he lent his fast-talking narration to Blur's 1994 anthem Parklife, and he spent time on Albert Square as Kevin Wicks in EastEnders. The night pairs behind-the-scenes stories from those roles with a lively audience Q&A, so you'll get to hear the stories first-hand and then ask your own questions.
There's a musical side to the evening too. Daniels continues to work as a musician and performs his own live music, including a version of Jimmy Cooper. The whole thing is suitable for 16+.
