Paul Heaton performs live at the M&S Bank Arena, celebrating his new album Jenius with special guests Rianne Downey and The Lightning Seeds.
Paul Heaton is playing the M&S Bank Arena on Wednesday 11 November, with the show starting at 18:30. He's touring his new album, Jenius, and the night is built around it, with the new songs taking centre stage. If you've been following his solo work, you'll know he's been keeping a steady pace with the records, and Jenius is the latest addition to that run.
He won't be on his own for the evening. Rianne Downey and the Lightning Seeds are both on the bill, so there are two support acts to get through before Heaton takes over. The Lightning Seeds are a familiar name to anyone who's followed the indie-pop scene since the late eighties, and having them on the same bill as Heaton brings together two threads of the same musical lineage. Downey adds another voice to the mix, so the night is a full bill rather than just a single set.

Standing and seated tickets are £46.70, which includes a £3.25 booking fee charged by the venue. The face value of the ticket is £39.50, so that's the figure you're paying for the seat or the space on the floor, with the fee on top. It's a mid-week show, and the 18:30 start means you'll be in and out on a Wednesday evening rather than a weekend night. The arena is at L3 4FP, right in the city centre, so it's an easy one to get to and back from.
