Live music night with Pacificaze at The Jacaranda Club, the historic 1958 venue on Slater Street.
Pacificaze play The Jacaranda Club on Saturday 24 October, with the night presented by Jacaranda Records and Out Of Phase. It's a single-act bill, so the focus stays on them throughout.
If you're not familiar with the venue, The Jacaranda Club is on Slater Street, one of Liverpool's most famous live music spots. It opened in 1958, run by Allan Williams, who was the Beatles' first manager. Back then, 'The Jac' played a part in building the Merseybeat movement — it's where the Beatles played their first ever live show, and where Ringo Starr first met the band. The venue still has a record store on site, and its 300-capacity basement continues to book local talent alongside bigger names.

With the basement's capacity at 300, it's a room that keeps things close to the stage. The night is a joint presentation from Jacaranda Records and Out Of Phase, two names from the local scene putting this one together. Pacificaze take the main slot on Saturday 24 October, so you'll have the full set from them. If you're planning to head down, it's on Slater Street in the city centre.
