New Music Social - Wigwam Live & Ditto Coffee

New Music Social is back at Ditto Coffee Baltic on Thursday 5 November, part of the monthly series hosted by Wigwam Live. It runs from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, and it's the same slot it takes every month: the first Thursday of the month, in the Baltic Triangle.

If you haven't come across it before, the format is pretty straightforward. It's an evening of live acoustic music, networking and conversation, and the room works as much as a showcase for new songs as a place for industry connections. The bill brings together emerging and established independent artists, music lovers and people working across the music industry, so it's as much about the people in the room as the music on the stage. It's a night for hearing new material and meeting the people behind it, rather than a standard gig where you just watch a band and head home.

Because it's a monthly thing, it's easy to keep in your calendar without having to check for new dates every time. The next one will be on the first Thursday of December, and the one after that on the first Thursday of January, all at the same spot.
