Intimate album launch for Muireann Bradley's new record 'Rose Dogs & Blackwood Pew' at The Jacaranda Club.
Muireann Bradley is playing The Jacaranda Club on Tuesday 27 October, an intimate album launch for her new record, Rose Dogs & Blackwood Pew. The night is presented by Jacaranda Records, so it's a proper launch rather than just another date on a tour.
If you're not familiar with the venue, The Jacaranda Club is on Slater Street, one of Liverpool's most famous live music spots. It opened in 1958, run by Allan Williams, the Beatles' first manager, and played a real part in building the Merseybeat movement — it's where the Beatles played their first ever live show and where Ringo Starr first met the band. The record store is still there, and the 300-capacity basement continues to book local talent alongside the biggest names in music. For a launch like this, it's a fitting place to have a new record out in the open.
