Short screenings of the animated film Stick Man for young cinema lovers at The Reader Mansion House.
Mini Movies brings Stick Man to The Reader Mansion House in Calderstones Park on Tuesday 8 December. It's a short screening of Julia Donaldson's festive book brought to life on screen, and as the title suggests, it's aimed at the city's littlest cinema lovers. If you've got small ones who know the story, this is their version of a big night out.
For those who haven't read it, Stick Man follows a stick's epic journey to find his way back home in time for Christmas. It's a simple, warm story that works well on screen, and because it's a short screening rather than a full-length feature, it's a good fit for young children who might struggle to sit through a longer film. The Reader is in Calderstones Park, so it's a nice spot to combine with a walk around the park before or after.
