Candlelit three-course Halloween supper for book lovers in a haunted library, with a welcome drink and Halloween quiz.
The Reader Mansion House is hosting a Seasonal Supper Club: Gothic on Saturday 31st October, a candlelit Halloween supper for book lovers. It's built around tales of mystery, suspense and the supernatural, so if you're into the darker side of reading, this is right up your street. The night starts with a welcome drink, followed by a three-course supper served in a haunted library, and a Halloween quiz to round it off.
It's a full evening rather than just a meal, and the setting is a big part of it. The supper is served in a haunted library, which fits the Gothic theme and the book-lover angle. The whole thing is candlelit, so it'll be a proper Halloween atmosphere. The welcome drink gets things moving, the three courses make up the main part of the night, and the quiz comes at the end, so you've got a drink, a full meal, and a bit of competition to finish on.
