Stand-up show by political comedian and satirist Matt Forde, recommended for ages 16 and over.
Matt Forde brings Project Holy Moly to the Everyman Playhouse on Wednesday 30 June 2027. It's a one-man show from one of the country's best-known political comedians, and if you've followed his work, you'll know exactly where he's coming from.
Forde has built his name on satire, and the credits back it up: The Royal Variety Performance, Spitting Image, HIGNFY, British Scandal, and The Matt Forde Focus Group. He's spent years taking on the political class, and Project Holy Moly keeps him in that territory. He describes the show as a mission across the political galaxy to find out exactly what planet we're all living onβa premise that fits right in with the way he usually works, taking the absurdity of the news and running with it.

It's a full evening rather than a quick set, running for an hour and 45 minutes with an interval, so there's plenty of room for the material to land. It's recommended for ages 16 and over, which is worth keeping in mind if you're thinking of bringing anyone younger along. Tickets are Β£27, and the show is at the Playhouse, part of the Everyman & Playhouse Theatres here in Liverpool.
