Christmas wreath-making workshop for My John Lewis members to craft a festive wreath from fresh seasonal foliage on a natural willow base.
John Lewis Liverpool is running a luxury wreath making workshop on Friday 4 December, part of their Hands-On Christmas Craft Workshops collection. It's held in the Jan Molby Room, up in the Haberdashery on Floor 2 of the store at 70 South John Street, L1 8BJ.
The session is exclusive to My John Lewis members, though you can book extra tickets for guests if you're bringing someone along. You'll spend the morning crafting a bespoke Christmas wreath from fresh seasonal foliage on a natural willow base, with an expert tutor guiding you through traditional wreath-building techniques until the design is lush enough to hang on a front door. The finishing touches are classic dried accents: pine cones, dried orange slices, cinnamon sticks and elegant ribbons.
One detail that's worth noting: every material used is natural and biodegradable, so the wreath is fully compostable once the festive season is over. It's part of a wider programme of floristry and wreath workshops the store is running across Liverpool, pitched as a creative, hands-on experience for novices and seasoned enthusiasts alike, so you don't need to be a pro to get stuck in.
