Indoor fairground with rides and attractions for all ages, running as part of the Exhibition Centre's Christmas programme.
The Liverpool Indoor Funfair returns to the Exhibition Centre on 19 December, running through to 9 January as part of the venue's Christmas programme. It's a traditional fairground brought indoors, so you get the rides and attractions in a weather-proof, climate-controlled space rather than battling the winter wind. There are rides for all ages, and the whole thing is geared towards families, with on-site café facilities and baby changing areas available. Under-16s need to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
There are three sessions every day: 10am, 2pm and 6pm, with the morning one finishing at 1pm, the afternoon at 5pm and the evening at 9pm. If you're looking for something a bit quieter, there are dedicated quiet sessions on 20 December at 10am, 30 December at 6pm and 2 January at 10am. Between the three daily slots and the quiet sessions, there's plenty of room to fit it in around the Christmas rush.
The Exhibition Centre itself sits on the banks of the city's world heritage waterfront, part of the Liverpool Experience Campus. It's a carbon-neutral event campus, easy to reach from the city's two international airports, twenty minutes from the motorway network and close to trains and ferries, so it works whether you're coming from across town or from further afield.
