Liverpool Acoustic Presents: OK Computer, a Radiohead Tribute

Liverpool Acoustic have put together a new run of shows across the city and beyond, with the bulk of them taking place in the Music Room at the Liverpool Philharmonic. It's a broad mix of folk, album tributes played in full, and festive nights, with dates running from early September through to January 2027.

The season kicks off on Saturday 5 September with The Lost Notes, who arrive fresh from being named FATEA Band of the Year 2025, sharing the bill with Michell, Pfeiffer and Kulesh. On Saturday 10 October, Mike Ryan returns to the stage with OK Computer, a Radiohead tribute with the Paranoid Android Band; it follows his previous reworkings of The Bends and Nirvana's Unplugged in New York. Halloween night sees Merry Helloween, billed as the spookiest folk-rock celebration in the North West, and they encourage fancy dress for it. On Wednesday 4 November, Jennifer Vaudrey launches her album Time Like Water with The Jesse Janes.

December brings the festive side of things. In My Liverpool Home at Christmas runs on Saturday 5 December with Danny Jones, Emma Scarr, Paul Cook, Count John McCormick and the Singing Our Socks Off community choir, following a run of sold-out shows. On Saturday 10 December, Michael Weston King and Lou Dalgleish pair classic country duets with new solo material. The new year takes over from there: Martyn Joseph returns on Friday 15 January 2027 after a nine-month break, and the season closes on Friday 22 January with Down in Laurel Canyon, a seven-piece that reawakens the harmonies of The Mamas and The Papas, CSNY, Joni Mitchell and Neil Young.

Most of these are in the Music Room at the Philharmonic, but there are a couple of shifts in venue: Merry Helloween moves to The Citadel in St Helens, and Down in Laurel Canyon takes place in the main Philharmonic Hall.
