Casual, untaught life-drawing session suitable for all abilities, with warm-up poses and a short break, at Pocket cafe bar.
Pocket cafe bar is hosting a life drawing session on Wednesday 21 October, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. It's an untaught, casual evening, which means there's no formal instruction — you just turn up and draw. It's open to all abilities, so it works whether you've spent years with a sketchbook or you're just starting out.
The session follows a steady build: it opens with shorter warm-up poses that gradually stretch longer as the night goes on, with a short break in the middle to stretch your legs and reset. The model for the evening is Annie Moon Ceramics, and the format gives you a bit of everything, from the quick sketches that get you moving to the longer poses where you can actually settle into the lines. All drawing materials are provided, so you don't need to bring a thing, though you're more than welcome to bring your own if you have a particular set of pencils or a sketchbook you prefer.

One of the best bits is the setup: there's a cafe downstairs, so you can grab a drink on arrival and have it ready before you head up to draw. It's a mid-week thing, right in the city centre at 98 Paradise Street, L1 4AA, and it runs for an hour and a half. Tickets are £15, and since all the materials are sorted for you, that's all you'll need to bring.
