Over-18s life drawing session with models at Rough Trade Liverpool, with tuition and basic materials provided.
Liverpool Indie Art School is bringing back its life drawing sessions, and the next one is at Rough Trade Liverpool on Tuesday 17 November. It's a return to a format they've run before, built around a relaxed, supportive and playful approach to drawing, so it's as much about the act of doing it as it is about what you end up with.
The way it works is straightforward: models sit for the room while tuition is on hand throughout, so if you get stuck or just want a second pair of eyes on a line, there's someone there to help. It's designed to suit any level of experience, from people who draw every day to those who haven't picked up a pencil since school. Some basic materials are provided, though they do advise turning up with your own hard-backed sketchbook and whatever you enjoy drawing with—pencils, charcoal, pens, whatever works for you.
Rough Trade is fully wheelchair accessible, with accessible toilets and chairs and stools available, so you can set up however you're most comfortable. One thing to keep in mind: the session is strictly for over-18s.
