A tribute revue to soul legend Barry White, starring William Hicks, brought directly from the USA.
Let The Music Play: The Legend of Barry White comes to M&S Bank Arena on Sunday 8 November, a tribute revue to the soul and Motown legend. It's billed as the only UK touring show dedicated to White, and it arrives straight from the production that toured the USA.
At the front is Atlanta vocalist William Hicks, who's known as 'the big man with the big voice'. He's a three-time Grammy Award winner, and his silky-smooth bass-baritone and stage presence are what recreate White's signature style. He's sold over 100 million records, with 20 gold and 10 platinum singles to his name.
The show works through the hits: 'Let the Music Play', 'Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe', 'You See the Trouble with Me', 'Just the Way You Are', 'You're the First, the Last, My Everything', 'Never, Never Gonna Give You Up' and 'What Am I Gonna Do With You'. Hicks is backed by the live band Soul Unlimited, with the Motown Supreme Dreamgirls on support.
