Jake Bugg plays the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Saturday 20 February 2027, part of a UK and EU solo tour he's announced for the year. He'll be on his own for this one, so it's just him and his guitar rather than a full band behind him.
He's touring his seventh album, Alamo, which came out on 13 November through Thirty Tigers. It's eleven tracks of raw, folk-leaning country, produced by Jimmy Hogarth and Steve McKewan, and the songs draw on his own experiences of love and loneliness. The artwork was shot by Kevin Westenberg, and the first single from the record was 'Never Can Tell'.
Bugg is a Nottingham artist, now 32, and his work has moved across alternative, country, indie and folk over the years. His debut album went platinum three times and hit Number One in the UK, so there's a fair bit of ground to cover between those early songs and the new material he's bringing with him on this tour.
